Vom 5. bis 8. Oktober findet in Rotterdam die Koferenz „ICCT 2016 – International Conference on Industrial Chimneys & Cooling Towers“ statt. Das Ziel der Konferenz ist es, Forschung und Entwicklung von Technologien aus den Bereichen industrieller Schornsteine und Kühltürme zusammen zu bringen. Organisatoren der Konferenz sind: CICIND – International Association for Industrial Chimneys, Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Institute Statics and Dynamics of Structures in Kooperation mit VGB PowerTech and IASS – International Association of Shell and Spatial Structures. Anmeldeschluss ist der 30. September.
